Section 41
Monitoring and Regulation
(1) The inspector shall regularly monitor the quality of drinking water supplied by the licensed organization and the level of sanitation services provided.
(2) During the monitoring according to sub-section (1), the inspector may collect and test samples of drinking water or discharged waste water supplied by the licensed organization or take or demand other necessary details.
(3) During the monitoring according to sub-sections (1) and (2), if the inspector finds it necessary to improve the level of drinking water and sanitation services, or if it is not found to be in accordance with the quality and standards during the testing of drinking water and waste water samples, he may instruct the relevant license holder to maintain the quality and standards.
(4) It shall be the duty of the concerned licensee to comply with the instructions given under sub-section (3).
(5) Other arrangements related to monitoring and regulation of the level, quality and standards of drinking water and sanitation services shall be as prescribed.
